Not My Usual End of Year

This school year has been anything but typical for me. I started teaching a curriculum I had never considered before this time last year. I don’t know why I had never considered it, but the change turned out to be very positive for me. I love what I do. Usually by this time of the year, however, I’m looking forward to taking time off. I’m usually one of the ones with a countdown running on the board.

This year is different. I’ve been to several edcamps around the state of Florida. I come away from each of them more energized than I ever thought imaginable. Today I met with two students that attended Edcamp St. Augustine this past weekend. They didn’t have to but had been so excited about our own Edcamp Branford that they (along with a parent) traveled the two hours from their home. Today we reflected over what we all experienced. It was amazing. They are as excited as I am about what we are putting in place in my classroom for next year. They will help me make it happen.

I can’t wait until the summer, not because I’m ready for a break, but because I need the time to prepare for next year. There is so much to do. I don’t want to see a countdown because it is a constant reminder that I am running out of time. I have so many things I still want to accomplish and try out. I know that I won’t get it all in but I’m going to try.

I can’t wait until tomorrow.

This is my second post today. This brings me back on track for the #blogaday challenge. I have been enjoying this challenge. It’s made me think carefully about my reflections.

  1. To apply for short term payday loans all you have to do first is
to fill the web application form and provide details like your contact
address, phone variety, form of loan you would like to avail
etc. This practice usually serves as a security
measure for the borrower and the lender, as well
as serving as a means of complying with applicable state
laws. We should hope for the best but prepare for the worst.
